Brand Foundation

Mission

To be a lifelong legal partner for families and businesses in the south suburban Chicago area — providing accessible, compassionate counsel across the full arc of life's legal milestones.

Vision

A community where every family and business has access to trusted legal guidance, delivered with the knowledge and care of a firm that treats clients like neighbors, not case numbers.

Brand Story

M.W. Brady Law Firm was founded in 2012 by Michael W. Brady in Tinley Park, Illinois, after years of experience representing real estate developers and contractors, serving as in-house counsel for a senior housing nonprofit, and working at the Fair Housing Clinic at The John Marshall Law School. That breadth of background — spanning corporate, community, and real estate law — became the foundation for a firm built to serve clients across every major legal milestone in their lives.

Today the firm operates from two distinct physical homes that together tell its story. The modern Frankfort office anchors the firm's primary service hub in Will County, while the Crete office occupies a lovingly restored 1901 historic building — home for over 91 years to descendants of Crete's founders, including a Village trustee, Township clerk, and County Board member. That building is more than a location; it is a declaration of the firm's multigenerational roots and its commitment to the communities it serves.

A growing team of four attorneys and six support staff serves clients across Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, offering the multi-practice depth of a regional firm with the warmth and accessibility of a neighborhood one.

Target Audience

Middle- to upper-middle-class families ages 30–65 in the south suburban Chicago area (Will, Cook, and Kankakee counties and northwest Indiana), primarily homeowners and small business owners navigating life's major legal milestones. They are community-oriented and relationship-driven, often intimidated by legal processes and motivated by specific life events, who want accessible, trusted, personal guidance rather than impersonal, transactional service.

  • Community rootedness — deep ties to the south suburban Chicago area and its residents
  • Compassionate counsel — legal guidance delivered with patience, care, and emotional intelligence
  • Multi-disciplinary expertise — attorneys with backgrounds across real estate, corporate, estate, and litigation law
  • Multi-state reach — licensed in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin to serve the full geography of clients' lives
  • Faith-based foundation — Catholic values and a traditional approach inform how the firm treats people and builds lasting client relationships

What Sets Them Apart

  • Free consultations across all practice areas — a consistent, firm-wide promise, not a limited-time offer
  • Licensed in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin — unusual breadth for a community-based firm
  • Multigenerational, life-stage orientation that connects legal services to human milestones (estate planning → business formation → real estate → probate → guardianship)
  • The historic 1901 Crete office as a brand signal of permanence, community identity, and multigenerational trust
  • Support staff organized by practice area for deep specialization alongside accessible client relationships
  • Founding attorney's background spans nonprofit housing, corporate law, and real estate development — an unusually broad foundation for community practice
  • Willingness to take on complicated cases that less experienced firms avoid — including complex farm estates, multi-state asset situations, and intricate trust structures
  • Serves clients across a broad economic spectrum — from farmers and modest estates to multi-million-dollar holdings — treating every client with equal dignity and care
