In 2002, Dr. Kiya Movassaghi made a deliberate choice. After 14 years of training and practice in Boston — an MD from Harvard Medical School, a DMD from Harvard Dental School (graduated magna cum laude), a maxillofacial surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, a general surgery residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and a plastic surgery residency in Harvard's Combined Plastic Surgery Program — he could have practiced anywhere. He chose Eugene.

He chose it because it is a place where excellence and community can coexist. A university town with a culture of health, nature, and authenticity. A place where a surgeon with national credentials could build something that mattered locally — practice by practice, patient by patient.
